The Drawing Studio (where I monitor life drawing sessions on Mondays) has collaborated with Mariana de la Vega Art Gallery & Studio to exhibit a juried show of portraits and self portraits by The Drawing Studio community. I created a self portrait that reflects my current body of work, painting succulents on previously poured abstracts. “Self portrait with astrophytum,” watercolor on Fabriano Artistico cold press, 12 x 9 inches.
FACE TO FACE opening night: 4 to 7 pm, Friday, January 19, 2024, at Mariana de la Vega Art Gallery & Studio, 1918 E. Prince Rd. The show will be on display until Saturday, January 27, 2024. Visitors are welcome Monday thru Saturday 10 AM - 3 PM.
